Yoga & Psychology: Moving for our Mental Health

Yoga & Psychology:

Moving for our Mental Health

Celebrating Mental Health Awareness

To continue the theme of Mental Health Awareness Week we will be celebrating ‘moving for our mind’ through a mindful medley of somatic movement, embodied flow and yoga postures, whilst anchoring our minds into our bodies for deep therapeutic nourishment and self-care.

I will share with you insightful conversation about the workshop’s theme, whilst integrating yoga and psychology for the wellbeing of your body and mind. I will guide you in a reflective writing exercise to unpack personal processing and deep insights and lead you through an embodied practice of yoga therapy, beginning with breathwork to regulate your nervous system, mindful movements flowing from yogic asanas to deep restorative stillness and meditation to enhance mind-body connection.

I weave in wisdom from yogic philosophy and psychology, integrating eastern principles into our western living and advocate for the healing powers of yoga and psychology for a calm mind, strong body and open heart.

"I felt like I’d really nourished different parts of myself”

…and felt really grateful to Steph for holding the space. I found it a really safe space and felt really connected to myself and others afterwards! The best feelings!

"LOVED Steph, and the venue….”

"I really liked the combination of reflecting, journaling, movement and relaxation. I also really liked the space and how there was time/space to chat before and after the yoga. Absolutely loved it”
